The edition
A near month-long residency circling the Baltic and North Seas, this edition brought eight curators — from Poland, the UK/Canada, Portugal, Iran, the Czech Republic, Spain, Chile, and Singapore — through Tallinn, Stockholm, Oslo, Malmö, and Copenhagen, following CPR's standard model of studio visits, institutional tours, and lectures on each city's art scene. Curator, writer, and researcher Jonatan Habib Engqvist — known for his work with Stockholm's Public Art Agency Sweden and the Momentum Nordic biennial — served as Program Manager for this edition.

Curator & cultural producer, Poland
Agata Chinowska is a curator and cultural producer based in Poland. Since participating in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Chinowska has developed a practice centered on contemporary art, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement. Her work spans exhibitions, cultural programming, and research-driven initiatives that foster dialogue between artists, institutions, and audiences across local and international contexts.
Curator & writer, Scotland
Ainslie Roddick is a curator and writer based in Scotland. Working at the intersection of contemporary art, ecology, and place-based inquiry, Roddick has developed a research-driven curatorial practice since participating in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017. Her work spans exhibitions, publishing, and public programming, with a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and socially engaged practice. Through projects with organizations including ATLAS Arts, she contributes to curatorial initiatives connecting artistic production with environmental and cultural discourse.

Eva Riebová is a curator and cultural practitioner based in Central Europe. Since participating in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Riebová has developed a practice centered on contemporary art, interdisciplinary collaboration, and public engagement. Her work spans exhibitions, research, and cultural programming, with an emphasis on fostering dialogue between artists, institutions, and diverse audiences across local and international contexts.

Helena Santos Elorriaga is a curator and researcher based in Spain. A participant in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Santos Elorriaga has developed a practice rooted in contemporary art, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her work spans exhibitions and cultural initiatives that connect artistic production with critical discourse and public engagement across international contexts.
Curator & researcher, London
Inês Geraldes Cardoso is a curator and researcher based in London. A participant in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Cardoso has developed an international curatorial career across leading institutions in the UK and Europe. She is currently Assistant Curator at the Barbican Centre, where she has worked on major exhibitions and commissions by Francis Alýs, Julia Phillips, and Julianknxx. Most recently, she curated Yuko Mohri’s upcoming 2026 exhibition at the Barbican. Her work bridges theory and practice, with a focus on politics, aesthetics, and exhibition-making.

Rachel Cook is a curator and writer working internationally in contemporary art. With a practice rooted in exhibition-making, critical dialogue, and collaborative research, Cook has continued to expand her work following the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017. Her projects include exhibitions, publications, and interdisciplinary initiatives that engage contemporary artistic production and evolving curatorial methodologies across global contexts.
Curator & cultural practitioner
Samira Hashemi is a curator and cultural practitioner working internationally. After participating in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Hashemi continued developing projects focused on contemporary art, curatorial research, and cross-cultural exchange. Her practice emphasizes collaboration and critical dialogue, creating platforms that connect artists, institutions, and diverse audiences through meaningful cultural engagement.
Artist, curator & writer, Berlin
Wong Binghao is an artist, curator, and writer based in Berlin. Since participating in the Curatorial Program for Research in 2017, Binghao has built an internationally recognized interdisciplinary practice spanning contemporary art, curating, and critical writing. Working across Asia and Europe, his projects explore queer theory, digital culture, and speculative futures through exhibitions, publishing, and collaborative research. His writing has appeared in MoMA’s post, and his curatorial projects—including Skincare at Antenna Space—continue to shape conversations around identity, technology, and contemporary visual culture.
