People who didn't have to say yes — and did anyway.

Since 2015, the Curatorial Program for Research has grown into something we're deeply proud of: a global network of more than 1,000 people spread across every city and community where we've had the privilege to work. Explore the map below and you'll find them all — the artists and curators who have called CPR home, the collaborators who opened doors we could never have opened alone, and the institutions around the world that made their communities available to ours.

We believe a residency should be more than a program on a calendar — it should be the start of something that stays with you. That's why every CPR experience is built around connection, not just curriculum. Since our first cohort in 2015, more than 150 fellows have passed through our doors, and none of them simply passed through: they became part of a community that welcomed them in, introduced them to the people and places that matter, and has stood beside them long after the program ended. Friendships made over shared meals, ideas exchanged in studio visits, collaborations born from a single conversation in an unfamiliar city — this is what we mean when we say CPR is a network, not a list of names, but a living, ongoing relationship between everyone who has walked through our doors and everyone still to come.

None of it would exist without people who didn't have to say yes — and did anyway. An ever-growing circle of curators, artists, and art professionals have opened the institutions they lead, the studios where they make their work, the universities where they teach, and the residency programs they run. Some have shaped a program from the inside out; others simply invited a group of strangers into their world for an afternoon — a studio visit, a walkthrough, a conversation over coffee — and in doing so, made that world a little bit ours too. Every fellow who has passed through CPR carries a piece of these relationships with them: an introduction that became a friendship, a studio visit that became a collaboration, a door that stayed open long after we left.
