CPR is built on a simple commitment: access and exchange, fully funded. Every one of our programs is free of charge to participants and selected through an open call — no tuition, no fees, no barrier of means. Flights, accommodation, and meals are covered so that a curator in Lagos or an artist newly arrived in Queens can say yes without asking what it will cost them.

That is only possible because people give.

Your contribution goes directly to the work: a curator's seat on The Nomadic's next residency, a stipend that lets an artist take two weeks away from paid work for Hello New York!, the introductions and long lunches and studio visits that turn a residency into a network someone carries for the rest of their career. More than 150 curators and artists have come through CPR. Friendships with others who share a passion for the arts are ultimately more valuable than any professional outcome — and those friendships are what your gift underwrites.
